After telling Tamara the good news I packed for tommorow and I had some daydreams. I went to bed very early. "Karlijn!" I woke up suddenly, hearing my mum called for me. "Karlijn, wake up!" "Yes, I’m coming mum!" I said as I stood up. I changed myself and then I went down where was making a lot of sandwiches for me. ‘Oh yes. We’re going to Gymnich!’ I thought by myself. "And Karlijn. Today you maybe see your idols." "Yes mum. It’s great. Thanks for bringing us there." "Oh, it’s nothing darling." My mum said. I sat down and try to ate a sandwich, but I coulnd’t. I had a lump in my throat. I was so nervous. Then I finally had finished my breakfast and I called Tamara. "Tamara speaking." "Hey, Karlijn here." "Hey!" "Hey, we are coming right now, okay?" "Okay, see ‘ ya." "Bye." Mum and I went to the car and we drove to Tamara. There we picked up here and we drove to Gymnich. I put a CD in the radio. It was "Over The Hump". Tamara and I sang together with Paddy ‘Key To My Heart’. "There’s a part of my heart. Wide and open for you…". I forgot the further lyrics and Tamara and I began to laugh about that. After the song Maite sang ‘Roses Of Red’. And then it was Angelo’s turn with ‘Once In A While’. "Yikes, I can’t stand him. Just listen to his voice." I said. "Oh, come on Karlijn." "Gee, don’t you think he’s arrogant in real?" "No, I don’t think so." "Hmm…I don’t know. I think Paddy is much sweeter." "I know that for sure…" Tamara said and I saw her eyes twinkle.

After almost 2 hours we were in Gymnich. It was a rainy day so there were not many fans. I were like 10 girls with photocams. They were all wet of the rain. "Hmm…it’s not very good weater, ah?" I said. "Nope, but that doesn’t bother me." Tamare answered. "Come on, let’s go." We got our bags, said mum goodbye and went to the gate. We looked a little bit around and I asked the fans: "Was any Kelly here yet today?" The girls looked at me like I’m crazy and I asked in in German. One of them said: ‘Yeah, Adam and Paddy were here half an hour ago in their car.’ So, Adam and Paddy were here earlier. After waiting half an hour the 10 girls went home. We were there all alone now. No, not alone. The security-man was here too.
"Shall we get us a drink?" Tamara asked. "But where can you get some?" We decided to ask the security-man where we can find a supermarket. The man told us there was a Rewe-supermarket near. We would be there in 10 minutes if we walked. We walked to the supermarket and walked inside and were searching for some drinks as someone pushed Tamara with a shopping cart. "Hey!" She said. "Oh, I’m very sorry girl. Did I hurt you?" A man asked Tamara. Tamara looked up and saw two beautiful eyes. It were the eyes of…

of Paddy! There was a silence. Nobody said something. "Ahum, did I hurt you?" Paddy said again as he smiled at her. "Eeh…yes…I mean…no! No, of course not. I’m okay ehh…" "Okay then." Paddy said again. They looked in each ohters eyes till Adam gave his little nephew a push. "Hey Paddy, do you have the beer yet?" He asked. "What?! Oh ehh…no. Why don’t you get it?" Paddy said quicky. "You really are Paddy ah?" I asked Paddy. "Yes, I am. And…" "Can I have your signature?" I asked. "Sure." Was his very nice answer and I gave him a pen and and some paper. "What’s your name?" He asked. "Karlijn."

He wrote something on my paper and gave it back. I read the paper: ‘Dear Karlijn, love from Paddy.’ Tamara still couldn’t say anything and Adam went to get the beer. "Eeh, this is Tamara. She is a little nervous I think. She’s very much in love you. Well, in your outside. ‘ Cause she doesn’t know your inside. Get it?" God, what was I saying! I was talking nonsense. What would he think of me? "Yes, can I have your signature too?" Tamara asked finally. "Sure, and what’s your name?" Paddy asked again. "Tamara." Again Paddy wrote something down and he gave it back to Tamara. I read: ‘Dear Tamara, much love Paddy.’

Hey, why didn’t he wrote on my paper ‘much love’? Paddy and Tamara again looked in each others eyes. Then Paddy asked: "So, where are you from?" "We’re from Holland." I said. "From Holland? And why are you girls here?" "Because we wanted to go here. And maybe to meet a Kelly." "Well, you just did." "Yes, and it was the best thing ever happened to me." Tamara said dreamy. "Can I kiss you?" Tamara asked Paddy. "Eeh…" "Only one on you cheek I mean." "Oh, okay." Was his answer. She walked to him and gave him a big kiss on his cheek. They both became red and then Adam came back and said to Paddy: "Come on Pad, we have to go to the bookstore now." "Okay okay. Bye Tamara and Karlijn." He said and with these words he left us and walked away.

We just stood there watching how Paddy and Adam left the store after paying and the car went away. While we went back to the Gymnich gate we talked about what was just happened. As we wanted to cross the street I didn’t watch if there were any cars. "Karlijn, watch out!" Tamara screamed. After that I felt a car pushing to my legs and I felt down on th street. Then I fainted.

When I woke up I layed on a cough and I looked around as far I could. I heared a voice saying something. I heared the words: "Yes,…..broken leg….rest…." I couldn’t hear anything. I tried to speak. "T-Tamara?" I said. As I said that 3 people were looking at me, but I coudn’t see who it were, ‘cause I saw everything a little bit foggy. "Karlijn? Karlijn wake up!" I heared and then someone try to wake me up. It was Tamara’s voice. "Tamara?" I said again. "Yes, I’m here. Please wake up Karlijn." She said to me. I opened my eyes and I felt so much pain. My head was killing me. "Oh, my head." I said. "Yes, you felt down on the street and your head was bleeding. You also bruised your ankle. And maybe it’s broken." Tamara said as she layed her hand on mine. Then I saw another head above me. It was a woman and she looked very nice. She looked like…she looked like…no, I couldn’t be true. I was Patricia Kelly. She began talking to me: "Hi, I’m Patricia. Do you remember your name?" "Yes, eehm…Karlijn." I said. I felt strange. Was this a dream or something? No, it wasn’t cause I felt pain in my ankle and my head. "And were are you from Karlijn? From which country?" "From..from Holland." I said. Then she started to talk to Tamara again. I looked around to see the other one who was sitting here. I was Paddy and he was talking to Tamara and Patricia too. "Paddy, get her a glass of water." Patricia said and Paddy walked away. After a minute he came back with a glass of water. He gave it to Tamara and Patricia helped me to sit. Then I drank the water and I felt better soon. "So, do you know where you are right now?" Patricia asked. "I guess so." I laughed. "I think this is Gymnich?" I said. "Well done." Paddy said and he smiled at me with a beautiful smile. Suddenly there were 3 men and 1 woman coming in and they looked surprised when they saw us sitting here. "Hi, who are you?" The woman said and I saw it was Kathy. The three men were John, Joey and Adam. "Hi, I’m Tamara and this is Karlijn. My best friend. She had an accident." Tamara said as she shooked her hand. "I see." I felt dizzy and soon I fainted again.

I woke up again and I still layed on the cough. But there was no one around. Slowly I stood up and I tried to walk. My left ankle was hurting me and so I couldn’t stay on my left foot. I heared voices coming out of a room and I went to that room. Slowly I opened the door and I saw a lot of people sitting there eating. It was the whole Kelly family. I looked at them and they all looked back. "Oh Karlijn, you’re supposed to lay there. You may not walk around." Patricia said as she saw me. I tried to turn around, but I couldn’t. My left ankle was killing me and I was screaming for help. Soon someone can to me and lifted me up. I didn’t know who is was, but that someone brought me to the cough again and layed me down there. "So, are you laying comfortable?" The ‘someone’ asked. I looked up and I saw Angelo looking at me. "Eeh…yes." "Would you like to have a pillow?" He asked. "Yes, I would like that." Angelo went for a pillow and in no time he was back with a pillow. "Here you are." He said as he helped me to kay the pillow behind my back. "Do you want something to drink or to eat?" He asked. "No, thank you." "Oh okay…hey I haven’t introduced myself to you. I’m Angelo." He said and he shooked my hand. "Hi, I’m Karlijn." "Enjoy your stay at Gymnich hospital!" He said with a smile and then he walked to the dinnerroom again. ‘Hey, that Angelo isn’t that worse as I thought he was.’ I thought my myself. After 10 minutes Tamara came to me. "Hi, how are you doing?" She asked. We were talking Dutch to eacht other. "Oh, I’m fine. But I don’t like it that I can’t walk now." "Haha, yeah I can understand that." "And…how is your dreamprince in real?" "You mean Paddy? Oh, he’s so cute. This is unbelievable." Tamara said and that moment Paddy came in and he asked: "What about me girls?" "Oh nothing." I said and Tamara became red again. Then Angelo came in too and just like Paddy he sat down on a seat. He turned the TV on and he watched some Formule-1 races. "I Schumacher winning? Or is Hakkinen just better." I asked him. He looked surprised at me. "You are interested in Formule-1?" He asked. "Well, no but I know something about it." "Cool! Well, no of course Schumacher is winning. He’s the best." "Haha, nono. Hakkinen is much better." "What?! You like that Hakkinen?" "Yep." I said to tease him. I don’t even know anything about these races. I only know these 2 names. "No way. Hakkinen is a jerk. You should like Schumacher." "But I don’t." He shaked his head and watched the game further. I looked at Tamara and said in Dutch: "You know what I mean now?" "About him?" "Yep." "What? He’s nice, isn’t he?" "A little bit. I have to say it’s better than I expected."

"Hey girls, don’t forget we can speak a little bit Dutch also."Paddy said and he began to speak Dutch:
"Ik kan ook een beetje Nederlands spreken. Maar niet zo veel." (It means: "I can speak a little bit Dutch. But not so much.)

(*5-12-1999 21.16*) Tamara and I became red because we thought they might be heared what be just said. But they didn’t because Angelo didn’t even looked at us while we’re talking about him. Then Patricia came into the room and asked us if I wanted to come to the kitchen to introduce myself to the rest. "Tamara, can you help me?" I asked and both with Patricia and Tamara I walked into the kitchen. All the Kelly’s except Paddy and Angelo were sitting there. Slowly I walked to eacht Kelly and introduced myself to them. When I tried to walk back to the livingroom I felt and my foot was killing me again. "Oh my god Karlijn!" Tamara cried. Quickly Joey came to me and lifted me up. He brought me to the livingroom and layed me down on the cough. Angelo and Paddy were looking surprised. "Hey Karlijn, is that your new boyfriend?" Angelo said. "Oh, my little brother is jealous again." Joey said to him and Angelo looked back to the television and did like he didn’t heared what his brother just said. I looked at Tamara and she was laughing. I think she thought what I thought. Yep, Angelo is the same jerk as I thought. Joey went back to the kitchen. After 5 minutes Patricia, Barby and Joey went outside because they wanted to jogging in the garden. Maite went upstairs. After some time it was already 20.30 and I said suddenly: "Hey, my mother would be here at 21.00!" "Oh shit! Sorry… And now?" Tamara said. "I don’t know." Paddy looked up and asked what was wrong. We explained it to him and he said he had to talk to his dad for a minute. After 5 minutes he came back and sat down on the cough. "Girls, I asked my dad if you girls could stay here for tonight. But dad don’t want it. I hope you are okay with it." He said and he looked down. "Oh…" Was the only thing I could say.
"I will take you to the gate okay?" He said and we said it was okay. Tamara helped me to walk to the hall to get our jackets. When we came back in the livingroom Paddy became a little bit red as he saw we were standing there. Because he was whispering to Angelo. We didn’t know what they were talking about and we didn’t care. "Angelo is coming with us too okay?" Paddy said and we said again that it was okay. "Hey, wait a minute. We have a wheelchair for you Karlijn." Angelo said and he went to the hall. He came back with a wheelchair and said: "Here you are. We still have one, because John broke his leg last year."
He took my hand and said: "Please sit down Madam." As he helped me into the wheelchair. The boys got their jackets and put them on. We said goodbye to Maite who came downstairs and then we went outside. It wasn’t raining anymore, but it was very cold. "I’ll push your wheelchair." Paddy said and he pushed me. Soon we we’re talking about us. "So, you came all the way from Holland to see us?" Paddy asked. "Well, yes. Do you mind that we came here to Gymnich?" Tamara asked him. "No, of course not. It was a cool meeting, wasn’t it." Tamara agreed with him. Angelo was very quiet all the time and looked around. Then Paddy broke the silence and said suddenly: "Listen girls, Angelo and I have a plan." Tamara and I both looked very surprised and asked what the plan was. "Look, you are two very cool girls and we want you to stay here tonight." Paddy said. We looked at him surprised again. "No no, I don’t mean that! You sleep in another room of course. But do you wanna stay here?" He asked. Tamara said: "Yes, of course. That’ll be cool!" "Great. But then we have to ask your mum of course." We agreed and soon we came at the gate. My mum wasn’t there. "Okay, we do the talking okay?" Paddy said. Then my mum came and she stepped out of the car. "Oh my god Karlijn! What’s happened to you?" She asked while she looked at me. Paddy opened the gate and started talking. "Hello miss Jansen. My name is Paddy Kelly and this is my brother Angelo." The boys both shooked my mums hand. "Karlijn had an accident and she bruised her ankle. She needs rest and we had to ask from our dad if the girls could stay here till tommorow." I almost have to laugh but I looked down so my mum woudn’t see it. "Karlijn, do you wanna stay here?" My mum asked me. "Oh yes mum! Please can we stay here?" I asked. "Well, okay then." She said and she smiled at me ‘cause she now this was a big wish of me. "Thank you very much madam. We will take good care of her." Paddy said. "Okay, then I have to say: See ‘ya tommorow!" Mum said and then she drove away. "Yes!" Paddy said and he and Angelo did high-five. "Okay Angelo, you drive her back again." Paddy said and Angelo grabbed the wheelchair and started to run with me in the wheelchair. "Angelo!! Angelo stop it! I will fall!" I yelled. "No, of course you won’t." He said and then he stopped. I looked back and Tamara and Paddy were staying there. "Hey, come on guys!" I said and slowly they started to walk to us. Angelo started to push the wheelchair again. "Hey, wait for them." I said, but he said: "No, they can walk alone. Or are you in love with Paddy or something?" "No! I’m not, Tamara is… Eeh...nothing." "What did you say?!" "Nothing. Just never mind." "Come on, trust me. I won’t tell Paddy. I swear." "No Angelo." Then he said nothing and after a few minutes we were at the castle again. "We have to wait for Paddy and Tamara here." Angelo said and he sat down on the stairs in front of the door next to me. Joey, Barby and Patricia came back from the jogging and went inside after looking surprised at us. "Do you think Paddy likes Tamara?" I asked him. We could see Paddy and Tamara walking. It would take a little while, when they get here. I thought. I also thought by myself that Angelo wasn’t that worse as I thought. He was a very nice boy. "I don’t know." He said after thinking a while. "Do you like her?" "… No…" He said as he looked down and he looked a little bit sad. "What’s up?" I asked, but he said it was nothing. Then after a minute of silence Paddy and Tamara came. "And…did you enjoyed yourselves?" Paddy asked with a smile. "Oh yes, we had so much fun." I said sarcastic. I looked at Tamara and her eyes were twinkling again. She was very in love. I was happy for her. But I thought Angelo liked Tamara too, just like Paddy did. To be honest I was a little bit jealous. Not that I liked Paddy or Angelo, but you know what I mean. Two teenage-idols in love with you. "Come on, let’s go inside." Angelo said and he pushed my wheelchair inside. We took of our jackets and Paddy said. "Okay girsl, you’ll stay here. We’ll be back in a sec. We’re gonna talk to dad." Angelo and Paddy walked into the livingroom. "What did you talked about with Angelo?" Tamara asked. "Oh, about nothing." I said. I didn’t want to tell her about what Angelo said. "What about you? Where did you talked about?" I asked Tamara and at that moment Angelo came in and said we could come in. His dad had said it was okay that we spent the night here. Angelo lifted me up and brought me to the livingroom. All the familymembers sat there watching television. Angelo put me on a cough and he sat down next to me.Tamara sat on the other side next to me. "So you mum said it was okay that you stayed here?" Papa Kelly asked. I looked at Paddy and he gave me an eyewink. Quickly I looked back to Papa Kelly and said: "Eeh…yes. It was okay with her." There was a movie on the television. It was a horror movie. "Do you wanna drink something?" Maite asked Tamara and me. "Yes, do you have a coke for me?" I asked and Tamara wished the same. Maite came back with the drinks and put them on the table. I wanted to get my drink, but I couldn’t reach it. Angelo saw it and gave the glass to me. But he was watching to the television while he gave the glass and the glass felt down on my legs. "Shit!" He said and he went to the kitchen to get me a tissue. He went back and tried to clean my pence. He looked very funny, because he was a little ashamed to clean my pence. "Maybe you can get one of Maite’s pences. This is all wet now." He said and I agreed with him. Maite went upstairs and Angelo lifted me up to get me to Maite’s room. It was upstairs so he had to go upstairs. When I came in Maite’s room and Angelo layed me on the bed I looked around. "Wow, this is great. Look at this." I said and Maite threw a pence to me. "Yes, it’s cool ah?" She said. "Angelo, please go downstairs. We are coming." Angelo went downstairs and I changed myself. "And do you like it here?" Maite asked. "Oh yes! I like it very much." I said and she smiled at me. "Come on, let’s go downstairs." She said and she helped me to get to the stairs. She tried to lift me up but she coudn’t. We were laughing all the time, ‘cause I looked so funny. Maite screamed for help. Paddy came soon and he lifted me up. Maite and I were still laughing. "Hey, what are you girls laughing about?" He asked. Maite laughed even harder and Paddy didn’t understand anything of it. When we were back in the livingroom Paddy layed me on the cough again next to Angelo and Tamara. Maite and I began to laugh again, because Maite’s pence was much to wide. "Sst! Be quiet. I’m watching the movie." Angelo said. I looked at Maite and we were laughing even harder while he said it. Angelo looked angry at his sister and said: "Maite! Shut up!" "Hey, Karlijn is laughing too!" She said and Angelo didn’t said anything more.

(*6-12-1999 21.00*) He looked so angry. He even became red. After a few minutes I said suddenly: "Angelo?" Angelo looked back and asked me what was up. "Could you get me a new drink? I’m very thursty." "Eehm…yes, sure." He said and then he went to the kitchen. Soon he came back with my drink and he gave it to me. After this he watched the movie again. Then Tamara whispered something to me. "Do you like it here?" She asked me in Dutch. "Yes, very much. What about you?" "It’s great here. You know what? We are lucky that you have a bruised ankle. You know that?" "Yeah, you mean YOU are lucky. I’m just laying here all the time and I have to spend my time with Angelo." Then Angelo looked back at us and then he looked at his dad. "Girls, could you stop whispering or tell the whole bunch what you are talking about, please?" Papa Kelly said. "Sorry." Tamara said. After half an hour the movie ended and Barby and Maite went to bed because they were both tired. Sean was already in bed both with his mum. Joey also went to bed, because he had to got up early for practising for Ironman. "So, you are both Kellyfans?" Papa Kelly asked suddenly to us. "Yes." I said. "And do you also have your favourites?" "Yes, I have one!" Tamara said. "She’s crazy about Paddy." I said and then Paddy became red again, because everybody looked at him and Johnny who was sitting next to him gave him a push. Everybody was laughing. "And what about you Karlijn?" Papa Kelly asked again. "Eehm…well, I have don’t have a favourite I think." I said and then Tamara said: "No, but she dislikes someone. Right Karlijn?" "Tamara, shut up!" I said as I gave her a push. Because I know she ment Angelo. "And who do you dislike?" Angelo asked. "Nobody. I think after today I don’t dislike that person no more." "Then you tell us." "No! Just never mind okay?" "Okay okay." Angelo said. "I think we’d better go sleeping. What about you Karlijn?" Tamara asked. "Yes, I’m tired too." I said and she stood up. "We go to bed too." Paddy said and Angelo and he stood up also. "I’ll take you upstairs." Paddy said and he lifted me up. We said goodbye to the rest and then we went upstairs. Paddy took me to the room where we could sleep and put me on the bed. "So, here are you girls gonna sleep. Or do you wanna sleep in my…" "Paddy!" I said. "It was just a joke!" "We have no pyjama’s." Tamara said. "Oh, you can borrow a shirt of mine." Angelo said and he went to his room to get 2 t-shirts. He came back with the 2 shirts and gave it to us. "Okay, goodnight guys." I said, but Paddy looked strange and asked: "What?! Are you gonna sleep now?!" "What else?" "We thought we could you for a while." "Oh, well…okay. But turn around for a sec. We gotta change ourselves." Tamara said and the boys turned around.

"Okay, you can look again." I said when we were ready. "Can we sit down?" Angelo asked. "Sure." I said and the boys both sat down on our bed. Now we were sitting on the bed with the brothers. "We don’t know much about you. Tell us more about you. We don’t even know your age!" Paddy said. "Okay, I’m 17 years old." Tamara said. "And I am 15." I answered. "Wow! We thought you were much older. I thought Karlijn was 17 and Tamara like 19 or something." Angelo said. "Do you mind?" I asked him. "No, of course not." Then Paddy, Tamara and Angelo began to talk about Tamara. I wasn’t there with my thoughts. I thought about how lucky we were. And about Angelo. He is so sweet. I really didn’t expected that. And his voice was so different. When he sang for example "Once In A While" he sounded so arrogant. But now he’s so nice. At that moment Angelo looked at me and whispered something. "Hey, what’s up? You don’t say anything." He asked. Tamara and Paddy were still talking with eachother. "Oh nothing." I said. "Why are you so quietly?" "I don’t know. I was just thinking." "About?" "About everything what was happened today." He smiled at me. "Yeah, I liked today too." "Are you saying that just to make me happy. Or did you really enjoyed it?" "No! I mean it. Really." "Okay, I believe you." I said and then he smiled at me and I never saw such a beautiful smile as that one. Wow, now I saw how handsome he was. So stupid that I never saw it on concerts or on photos. This was the real Angelo. Without any make-up or other fuss. We looked in eachothers eyes for a few seconds and then I looked at Tamara and Paddy. But they were gone! "Where is Tamara?" I asked Angelo. He looked up and saw nobody. "I don’t know?" "Oh my god. Come on. Let’s find her!" I cried and I stood up as fast I could. But then I felt on the floor and I thought about my ankle again. "Oh fuck! Au!!" I cried and Angelo lifted me up. "Are you allright?" He asked. "No, I’m not! You can see it, don’t you!" I yelled angry to him. "Oh sorry." He said and then he layed me on the bed. Then I fell asleep and I dreamed about Angelo.

Slowly I opened my eyes. A sunbeam almost blinded me. I tried to lift my hand up, but I couldn’t because there was someones arm laying on my body. I looked left and there I saw Angelo sleeping. He was still wearing his clothes that he worn yesterday. First I was a little bit shocked, but then I wasn’t anymore. Because I thought about yesterday evening. He looked so sweet while he was sleeping. He was also snoring. I looked at him for a while and then I decided to wake him. I whispered in his ear. "Angelo, wake up." He didn’t woke up and I whispered it again in his ear. Then suddenly he opened his eyes and shocked he looked at me with sleepy eyes. "W-What’s up?" He asked. "Nothing, I just woke you up. Sorry." "Oh, it’s okay." He said and he looked around. "Where are Paddy and eeh…" "Tamara." "Yes." "I don’t know. We tried to search them last night, remember?" "Oh yes, I remember." "Do you know what time it is?" I asked him. Angelo looked at his watch and said: "It’s 10.30. Wanna go downstairs?" "Okay." I said and then he stood up. "Can you help me with walking?" I asked. "Sure." He walked to me and helped me standing. "Hey, look at me! I can walk again. My ankle doesn’t hurt anymore." I said as I walked through the room. "Great. Then I don’t have to lift you up anymore." He said with a smile. Angelo went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth. I changed myself and brushed my teeth too with a new teethbrush. Then we went downstairs. When we came in into the dinnerroom everybody sat there and everybody looked at us. "Aha, there we have our two lovebirds." Johnny said. Angelo looked at him like he was talking nonsense. We both sat down and Angelo asked why he thought that. "Because why are laying your arm on her body at night?" John asked. "How did you know?!" Angelo asked when he became red. "So, it’s true ah?" "No, it’s not!" "We saw it Angelo. So it’s true." Angelo didn’t said anything more and quickly I asked Tamara where she and Paddy were last night. "Oh, we thought you wanted to be alone. Because you don’t even saw it when we left the room. "No, but you can say it when you are leaving!" "Sorry! And so what, you weren’t alone, were you?" "No, I wasn’t. But…oh never mind." I grabbed a sandwich and began to ate. The others were all finished yet and left the dinnerroom. After a few minutes I sat there alone. Tamara came to join me and sat next to me. We talked in Dutch. "Sorry about last night." She began. "It’s okay…but where were you two guys?" "We were at Paddy’s room." I began to laugh. " And what was happened there?" I asked her. "Well…nothing…" "Oh come on Tamara. I can see it in your eyes. Let me guess…You slept with him?" "No! Of course not!" "You kissed with him?" I went to the livingroom and sat on the cough next to Barby. Then Angelo came into the room and called me. "Karlijn, can you come upstairs. I have to ask you something." "Sure." I said and I went upstairs. We went to his room and there I sat down on his bed. He stayed in front of the window and then he began to laugh. "What’s up?" I asked him. "Come over here. Watch this." He said and I went to the window. "Look over there. Under that big tree." I looked at the tree and saw there Paddy and Tamara laying next to each other. They were kissing very long. We watched them for a while and we said nothing. I turned around again and asked him what he wanted to ask me. "Oh yes…can I have your adress." "For what?" "So, we can keep in contact. If you want of course." I smiled at him and he smiled back. Wow, I was so surprised. He was a real dreamprince. And of course I wanted to keep in contact with him. "Do you have some paper and a pen?"

(*24-12-1999 0.23*) I walked into the livingroom and saw Paddy and Tamara still sitting there. "Karlijn?" Tamara asked me. I had tears in my eyes, but I didn’t wanted Paddy or Tamara to see them, so I looked down a little bit. "What’s up?" I asked. "Paddy and I just decided that I’m gonna sleep in his room tonight, is that okay?" Oh my god, now I have to be alone tonight. And I didn’t want to sleep on Angelo’s room! Not after what was just happened. "Hey, are you okay with it?" Tamara asked. "She has to, we will do it anyway." Paddy said and Tamara gave her prince a punch. "Yes, It’s okay…" I said and I sat down on the cough alone. "Where’s the rest?" I asked. "I don’t know. In the cellar, upstairs, in the kitchen. I really don’t know." Paddy said. "But why aren’t you gonna sleep on Angelo’s room. He would like it." Paddy asked me while he stopped kissing with Tamara. "No way!" I said. "Wow, calm down okay. It was just a question." Then Angelo came into the room and sat next to me. He put his arm around my shoulder and said: "Hi honey, I missed you…" Paddy and Tamara began to laugh about this, but I couldn’t laugh. It looks like everyone’s drunk, except for me! Angelo kissed me in my neck and as I looked at Tamara she shook her head and began to smile. I smiled back, because I didn’t wanted to make any troubles. But this was not what I wanted. Suddenly I stood up and said: "Sorry Lino, I have to go to the toilet." I runned to the toilet and sat there for a minute. Thinking about the situation. I really had to tell Angelo what was on my mind. I didn’t want this. Not while he was drunk! Okay, he was a nice guy. A very nice one, but I guess tonight was not the right time for this all. I closed the door and walked into the hall. Suddenly I felt two arms around my waist. I turned around and yes, it was Angelo again. "Hey baby, c’mon let’s go to my room okay?" He said while he tried to kiss me. I pushed him away and said: "No Angelo. Stop it! I don’t want this! Get off and leave me alone tonight okay?" Angelo stared at me for a moment. "What?!" Was the only thing he could say. "What do you mean? I thought you liked me? We kissed…remember?" "Yes, of course I remember! But this is going to fast Angelo. I just wanna be alone now and you need some rest. Now go to bed and I’ll talk to you tommorow." "But…" "No Angelo. Leave me alone!" I said as I walked upstairs to my room. I came in, closed the door and fell down on my bed. God, what was going on here. Two days ago Angelo was a jerk and look what happened now! This couldn’t be real… But I guess it is. Soon I fell asleep and I dreamed about Angelo. A nice Angelo…not this one like tonight.

I opened my eyes and saw Tamara above me. "Hey come on. Wake up! The day is almost over again. We have to go home today." I said nothing and slowly I stood up and looked out of the window. I remembered everthing about yesterday evening. About Angelo, about the party, about the garden, about Maite… "Maite! Where’s Maite!" I cried. "Calm down Karlijn. She’s still in the hospital. She has a broken leg." Tamara said. "Oh… How was your night?" "Oh Karlijn, you never believe this! But…" Tamara started to say as she jumped through the room. "Oh, let me guess." "Okay? What do you think?" "Come on Tamara. I can see it in the way you act. You slept with him, ah?" I said as I changed myself. Tamara began to laugh very loud. "Yes I did! He’s so wonderful Karlijn. You don’t believe it!" "Oh yes, he’s so wonderful. NOT!" "Hey, what’ wrong? Bad mood today?" "Oh, I don’t know. Guess so…" "Is it about yesterday?" "I don’t know…" "Angelo said you kissed with him…" "What?! Did he really said that?!" "Yes, it isn’t that worse, is it?" "Yes it is! He was drunk yesterday! He didn’t meant it Tamara." "Oh I’m sure he meant it. He’s in a very good mood today and he’s very proud to tell everyone." "Really?" "Yes, of course. Hey, Angelo is used to beer. He’s not getting drunk so fast." We both laughed and suddenly Angelo came in. He had a sandwich in his hand and ate some. "Hey girls, talking about me?" He asked while he jumped onto the bed and he gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. I looked at him surprised and then at Tamara. Tamara still laughed and then she said in Dutch. "I think I’ll leave you two alone. It’s getting to personal…" She walked out of the room. "Did I bother you?" Angelo asked like nothing was happened. I still stared at him with big eyes. "What’s wrong?" He asked while he ate some again. "You kissed me…" I said full of surprising. "Yes…so?" His smile disappeared and he said sad. "Oh sorry, I thought you would like it…" I began to laugh. "Of course I like it you silly!"

Angelo just finished his sandwich and layed down on the bed. He stared to the ceiling and said: "Oh, she can come home tommorow again." "Oh…" "Do you regret it?" He asked me when he looked at me. I layed next to him. "Regret what?" I asked. "What do you think…The kiss of course." "No…do you?" "Nope, but why were you angry at me yesterday evening then?" "Angry?" "Yes, I tried to kiss you but you didn’t want to. I thought that was what you wanted…" "Oh no Angelo. It’s not what you think. It’s just… nothing. Forget about it okay?" "Hmm…okay… And now?" He asked while he smiled at me. I knew what he wanted. "What do you mean honey?" I said and I jumped on him. I sat on his waist and grabbed his hands so he couldn’t do anything. "Help me!" He screamed. "Hey, shut up…not so hard." "But you’re hurting me." "Oh c’mon. Are you a real man or what?" He tried to push me away but he couldn’t. His face went red. It was so sweet to see this and I began to laugh. "Okay okay, I give up…" He said. I could feel him breathing very fast. "I give up I said. Let me go now, please?" "Oh no, you’re not getting away with this so easy." "Please! Let me go…" "Nope." "Why not." "I’m not crazy. I’m not letting you go. I never get such a nice guy again." He began to laugh too and said: "Okay okay, I’ll promise I won’t run away from you, but can you at least let my hands go? Please?" "What do I get for it?" "Hmm…let me think…a kiss?" "No, only one?" "Okay, two!" "No." "Three!" "Okay, you win. Pay first." "Okay, come here then." I began to give him a big kiss. "Yum, that was great." He said. At that moment we heared someone coming in. It was little Sean. Quickly I stood up and Angelo did the same. "Hey Sean, what did I told you! Knock before you come in!!" Angelo shouted at his little cousin. Sean began to laugh and asked what we were doing. "It’s none of your bussines Sean. So fuck off now!" Angelo shouted again. "Angelo, calm down." I said. "No, he don’t have to come in like that. Sean, I tell you one more time. Get lost or I deal you a blow!" Sean began to cry and ran back downstairs. "Look what you’ve done." I said to Angelo. He turned to me and gave me a kiss. "Hey, c’mon. He’s getting over it."
