Bob yelled and the four went to the big hall full of stars. Sabine looked around and saw many famous people. Brian from the Backstreet Boys, one of the Spice Girls, the Westlife guys, the 3 brothers of Hanson and much more. Finally Daan and Sabine took a seat somewhere where it was a bit quiet. Bob and Ruud left. "God, I never saw so many famous stars." Daan said. "Yeah, and we are also one of them." They looked at eachother and began to laugh. Then one of the boys of Hanson came to Daan, introduced himself and they left both…

"Okay, now I’m all alone here. Great." She talked to herself. Suddenly someone came to sit next to her. "Hi, is here someone sitting?" She asked. It was Maite Kelly. "No, take a seat. Hi, I’m Sabine." Sabine replied. "Hi, I’m Maite. Hey, congratulations with your price. You’re really great! My brother is crazy about your music." "Really? Haha, well thanks. Congratulations to you too with your price." "Yeah thanks. Do you like this party?" She asked. "Hmm…Can’t say because I’m just here. But…I think I’m gonna like this yes." "Yeah, all these nice boys. How about Nick Carter? Yum, he’s nice." "No, I like Brian more. What about my cousin, Daan?" "Hmm…yes, he’s okay. But to young for me. Give me Bob okay?" "No, he’s too young too. He’s 15!" Sabine looks directly his way and she is seeing a boy with long blond hair in a ponytail, glasses, a white blouse and a sort of green pence. As he saw her looking he directly looked away and he drunk something. "And? What do you think?" Maite asked her. "…Well, he’s okay." Sabine replied, but he wasn’t only okay. He was super! Why didn’t she discovered this boy sooner? She thought by herself. "Shall I tell you something funny? But you gotta promise you’re not gonna tell anyone." "Okay?" Sabine said. "Listen, Angelo is a big Early Birds fan especially of you. I won’t say how he’s talking about you all day, but you would do him a big favour if you talked to him for a minute. Will you do that?" "What?! What do I have to say then?" When Sabine looked at Angelo again Bob was talking to him. "You don’t have to say very much. But please have a little talk with him. Will you?" She almost begged me. "Why is this so important for you?" "The whole family asked me to arrange a little talk between Angelo and you. Maybe then he would talk a little bit less about you." Sabine laughed. But that was because she was a little bit nervous. "Will you please do that?" She asked again. "He can come to me too, right?" "He doesn’t dare! Look, he fell in love and he’s very shy. Shall I call him?" "No!" Sabine yelled. "Don’t call him." "Why not? Are you shy too? You don’t like him that much, do you?" "…No, but the first impression was good…very good." "Sabine! Why don’t you talk to him. Then you can see him close and maybe you’ll like him even more and…" "Maite, stop it! I’ll talk to him later okay?" "Okay. You promised that." She finally said and Sabine began to talk about something else. Sometimes she looked at Angelo again. He was still talking to Bob, but Daan had joined them also. Suddenly 2 boys came to sit next to Maite and Sabine. They introduced themselves as Taylor and Isaac Hanson. Taylor was sitting next to Sabine and Isaac next to Maite. Sabine was a little bit shocked. She looked at Angelo and Angelo suddenly looked back. When he saw Taylor sitting next to her, he turned around again and Daan and Bob also looked at Sabine. "Hey, never saw you on a party before." Taylor said. "Oh…" Sabine didn’t know what to say to him. She wasn’t even interested in him. Maite seemed to be interested in Isaac and the two of them left soon. There was Sabine sitting with Taylor. "Hey, do you have boyfriend." Taylor suddenly asked when Sabine felt a arm around her neck. Sabine looked surpriced at him and said: "No…why?" "It’s just a question…" "Sorry Taylor but I think I have to talk with my cousin. Bye!" Sabine said and she quickly stood up. God, what a creep was that. She saw Daan was not with Angelo anymore, but with Britney Spears! Sabine walked towards them and pulled Daan with her. "Daan, I have to talk to you." "Hey, Sabine what are you doing. I’m talking!" He yelled at me. Britney looked mad at me and walked away. "Sabine, look what you did." He cried. "Why did you walked away suddenly at the begin of the evening?" "Oh, I met someone." We sat down on the place where we had sat before. Taylor had already left. "What’s up? Why do you wanna talk to me?" Daan asked his cousin. "Did you met some other stars too?" "Eehm…yes. Oh, Angelo Kelly, haha it was so funny Sabine." "Why?" Sabine asked. "He said he likes you very much." "What’s funny about that?" "I told him you already had a boyfriend." "What?! But I don’t have!" "No, but you were so close with that other guy and… why are you so confused about it?" Sabine looked away now and became red. "Do you like him???" Daan asked with big eyes. "I don’t know. I didn’t talked to him…" "Haha, he wants to talk to you, but he doesn’t dare. I had to ask you if you wanted to meet him?" "Oh…" "Well, will you do that?" "I don’t know." Then Maite came back again and she introduced herself to Daan. "Hey, back again? What happened?" Sabine asked Maite. "Oh nothing. But he’s not as cool as I thought he would be." "Oh…" "And? Did you talked to Angelo yet?" "No, of course not!" "Why not?" She asked and she got up and went to her brother who was all alone again and looked Sabine’s way again. After a while they both got up and walked towards us. "Oh my god Daan. What do I have to say." Sabine asked nervous. "That you like him." No!" "Why not. You do like him. I can see it. I know you that good." Sabine looked down again. "Look Sabine, this is Angelo." She heared Maite saying. Sabine looked up and then she looked in the two most beautiful eyes she ever saw…

Sabine stood up and reached out for a hand. Angelo, also nervous, shooked her hand and said: "Hi, I’m Angelo." Sabine heart tumled very fast and she felt like a tomato now! "H-Hi, I’m Sabine." After shooking hands a few more seconds she let go his hand. "Angelo likes you very much Sabine." Maite said and then she got a push from her brother who became red now. Wow, this is such a nice guy. Sabine couldn’t get her eyes of him anymore and Angelo seemed to have the same problem. "Sabine, sit down." Daan suddenly said as he pulled her down on the cough. Maite did the same by Angelo and Angelo started to talk. "Eh…I like your music very much." He said. "You do? Thanks…" Sabine said. She looked again in his nice blue eyes. She almost melt…

Sorry, but I lost a part of my story. But in this part Sabine finally asks Angelo to dance with her.

Sabine pulled Angelo against her and put her arms around his neck. Angelo was a little bit shocked. Wow, his idol is dancing so close to him. But he also put his arms arouns her waist and there they go…

Suddenly Sabine saw Taylor Hanson looking at them. He seemed to be mad at her, but she didn’t mind. She liked Angelo and not him. Sabine closed her eyes and enjoyed this nice dance…

"Hey, I thought we were going to dance!" Someone said while he pushed Angelo away from Sabine. It was Taylor. "Oh, go away. You know I don’t like you." Sabine said and Angelo gave Taylor a punch and said: "Why don’t you fuck off, she doesn’t want you. She told you before." "Yeah, what do you know about it?!" "Much more than you think. So get off!" "Who are you anyway? Her boyfriend or something??" Angelo looked at Sabine and Sabine at Angelo. What would he say now. "Yes, I am. So I tell you one more time to go away or I’ll beat you up, you hear me?" Angelo said as he walked towards Taylor and looked him straight in the eyes. Angelo pushed him again and Taylor almost fell down. "Leave me alone, you longhaired tramp!" Taylor yelled as he punched Angelo in the face. Now the fight began. Sabine didn’t know what to do as the two boys fell down on the ground. They punched and kicked eachother and screamed the most terrible things to eachother. Very soon some older men came to get Angelo and Taylor of eachother. After this wrestling they finally stopped their fight. "You’re not getting away with this so easy you bastard!" Taylor yelled as the men took him away. Sabine runned towards Angelo and looked him in his eyes. His glasses were gone, but Maite came to give it to him. His hair was also a big mess. "Angelo, why did you do that?!" Maite asked her brother. "I had to. He’s such a asshole." We heared from some other people that Taylor and his brothers were gone. "C’mon. Let’s sit down again." Sabine said and the three of them sat down somewhere on some chairs. "So, now you’re a tough guy. Sabine must like you by now." Maite said, teasing Angelo a bit. "Oh shut up sis."

After 15 minutes Kathy came to say that they have to go now. It was getting to late for little Sean. So, they were leaving in 5 minutes. Maite already went to the others as Sabine and Angelo still sat there. "So…guess you go home now?" Sabine said. "Yep…I’m sorry." "No, it’s okay. Thanks anyway for the nice fight." Angelo looked at her and laughed. "Yeah sure. Hey listen, this may be sound stupid, but can I have your autograph?" Sabine didn’t know what to say and began to laugh. "Haha, why?" She asked him. "Well, It was just a question…" "Oh sorry. Yeah sure you can have one. You have some paper?" "Yes, here you are." "Thanks." Sabine got a pen from the table and started to write her autograph. But what Angelo didn’t knew was that she also wrote her telephone number on it…

24-1-2000 11.56: Two weeks later: Sabine layed on the her bed in the tourbus. Angelo still didn’t called her, but she was too busy with her own band that she didn’t even thought about that anymore.

Suddenly the bus stopped and Daan jumped on happily. "Come on Sabine. Our next concert is tonight." Both with Ruud and Bob he went outside. Sabine heared the fans screaming outside. It was so funny, they were screaming because they saw her little cousin. Then she fell asleep...

"Sabine! Come on, we’re gonna begin with the soundcheck." Bob yelled as he pulled Sabine almost out of her bed. Sabine finally got up and changed herself. Bob had left already. When she got out of the bus there were many girls, but also some boys, screaming her name. She walked towards them and gave some autographs. "Sabine, what about your relationship with Taylor Hanson?" Someone asked her. Shocked she looked up to that girl and said: "What?!" "This magazine says you’re going out with him." "That’s not true. You shouldn’t believe that. I have nothing with him." "But..." "Please, don’t talk about it anymore." Sabine gave some more autographs and then went inside the big hall where they had to play that evening. She went through the hall onto the big stage. Daan played some drums and Bob and Ruud were busy with Bob’s guitar which didn’t work anymore. Sabine walked towards her guitar which was standing there already and she played something on it. "Okay, let’s start with your new song Sabine." Ruud said and Sabine walked towards the microphone. She remembered when she wrote this song. It was just 2 weeks ago, the day after she met Angelo. It was a love song for him, but now she doesn’t even think about him when she sang her song.

After the song Ruud and Bob decided to talk about business with some crew-people while Sabine sat down somewhere at the canteen backstage. Daan joined her and he began to talk: "Hey Sabine, how about your love for Angelo Kelly." "What?! Oh, I don’t know. I just saw him one time and..." "Oh, come on Sabine. You coulnd’t talk about anything else two weeks ago." "I know Daan, but things have changed. I’m to busy to think about him. I probably wouldn’t meet him anymore." "Don’t you have his phonenumber or something?" "No, I gave him mine, but he didn’t called me." "I’m sure he will do that soon." Sabine just smiled at her cousin. They decided to go outside to talk to some fans again.

30 minutes before the show starts: Five fans came into the changing room. They had won a meet and greet with the Early Birds. There were 4 girls and 1 boy. The boy immediatly walked towards Sabine and gave her 3 kisses on her cheek. "Please can I make some photos." He asked and of course Sabine agreed with this. "Is it true that you have something with that Taylor Hanson?" He asked her. "No! It’s not true, that’s just a rumour." "Pfew, lucky me. I couldn’t live with the idea that someone else is going out with you! I would probably kill myself." The boy said as he smiled at Sabine. "Oh no, you should never do that! I’m sure one day you will meet this girl who means so much to you that you don’t even think about me anymore." Sabine said and then she gave the other fans some autographs too. After 10 minutes the fans left again and Sabine changed herself just like the boys.
"Okay, let’s go!" Daan yelled as he jumped through the corridor nervously. He was always in a good mood, never sad or mad. Sabine thought about what the boy had said to her 15 minutes ago. Would he really kill himself if she would have a boyfriend? Well, like 3 years ago she was desperately in love with Nick Carter and she also had to cry when she thought about the idea that he would had girlfriend, but KILLING herself? No... she couldn’t imagine anyone doing that.

All the bandmembers waited there in front of the door. The lights in the hall went out and the sound of screaming girls was so loud! It was such a good feeling to hear it...

At first Daan ran onto the stage then Bob, Sabine and Ruud followed him. Just like always Sabine looked at all the faces. She knew some of them, because these fans were always on their concerts. The die-hard fans!
The atmosphere of tonight was great, Sabine really enjoyed this show. Daan told the audience some jokes and sometimes a girl thew a teddybear or something else towards him. Finally it was time for the break. All sweaty Sabine walked off the stage towards the canteen. Suddenly her mobilephone rang. She grabbed and said: "Yes? Sabine here." Nobody said something at the other side, she could only hear a lot of people talking to eachother and a song at the background. "Hello?" She said again. "Very funny!" She said angrily and she just wanted to hang up the phone as someone said: "Hi." "Hello? Who’s there?" She tried again. "Hi, it’s me. Angelo." "What?! Angelo? Oh..." "Sorry that I didn’t called you before." "I thought you forgot all about me?" "How could I forget you?" Sabine laughed. "Did you liked my new song?" She asked him. "Yes, I love it." "Well, I wrote it for you." "You really did? Wow..." "Where are you now? What’s that noise?" Sabine asked him. "Oh, you would never believe this..." "What’s up?" "I’m here in the hall, watching your show with Paddy." "What?! But..." "Haha, it’s true." "Why don’t you come backstage?" "Now?!" "No, after the show or something?" "Hmm...I wish I could. But how?" "Eehm...where are you exactly?" "At the left side, front row." "Okay, just keep staying there after the show. I’ll tell those crew-people about you okay?" "Cool!" "Okay, I’ll see you after the show!" "Allright. See ‘ya!" Sabine hang up and told the others about her phonecall with Angelo. They were all very happy for her and she took something to drink. "I told you he would call you!" Daan said.

After ten minutes the show started again. While Bob was singing his song, Sabine went to the left side of the stage and she looked at all the fans and suddenly she saw Angelo. Happy as she was she forgot the chords and Bob said through the micro: "Hey dreamy! Wake up, you aren’t looking for nice boys again, ah?" Sabine went red and quickly she walked back to her place. After this she looked sometimes at Angelo and of course he looked back and smiled at her. Sabine felt really in love again...

24-1-2000 22.17: "Okay okay. I didn’t dare to call her." Angelo said while he looked down a little shy. After talking for more than an hour Bob and Ruud felt tired and they went to bed. Now Sabine sat there between Angelo and her cousin, Daan. Paddy was on the other side, watching television both with Angelo. "Hey Sabine." Daan asked Sabine in Dutch, so Angelo and Paddy couldn’t hear it. "What’s up Daan?" "Do you still like him that much?" "Ssht…not so hard. He can hear it." "Don’t worry, he can’t speak a word Dutch. So, do you still like him that much?" "Even more than I did before…" She said and they both began to laugh. "Is he gonna sleep in your bed tonight?" "No way!" "Why not? You like him and he likes you…" "How do you know that?" "Oh come on, you know that he likes you. He even told you he does." "Okay…" "Well?" "No, he’s gonna sleep in extra bed." "He can’t." "Why not?" "I told Paddy to sleep there." "Then they’re gonna sleep there together, they won’t mind." "Come on, you can’t put two boys together in one bed!" Angelo and Paddy both looked at Daan who was talking very loud now. "What’s the problem?" Paddy asked. "Sabine wants Angelo and you to sleep in one bed." Both Paddy and Daan began to laugh. Sabine looked at Angelo and he looked back, but he didn’t seemed to be happy with Sabine’s decission, so he turned around again. "No Sabine, when I was young I slept with Angelo in one bed and I’m never doing it again." Paddy said. "Why not?" Daan asked. "He snores tertorously!" They began to laugh again. "I’m gonna sleep on this cough tonight." Angelo finally said and everybody agreed with that. I got him some blankets, because it was winter and so it was very cold. "Good night everybody!" Daan yelled while he jumped through the bus. "Hey shut up! I’m trying to get some sleep you asshole!" Ruud screamed angry. Daan apoligized and went quickly to his bed. He was sleeping above Sabine. Sabine changed herself and decided to take a look at Angelo who just layed down on the cough. "Hey Sabine." He said as he smiled at her. "Hi. Isn’t it to cold for you?" "Hey, don’t worry about me okay?" "Okay, sorry." Sabine sat down next to Angelo and said: "You know, I’m really happy tht you’ve called me?" "Really?" "Yes, I thought you forgot me or something." "No, I would never forget you." "That’s sweet Angelo." She said and she gave him a little kiss on his forehead. Angelo looked surprised at her and Sabine was a little shocked about her own action too. Angelo smiled at her, lucky for her he didn’t mind. "Well, I better go to bed. See you tomorrow." Sabine said. "Bye." Angelo replied. Sabine got up and walked towards her bed.

2-2-2000 22.21: She layed down and pulled the blankets over her. It would be a cold night and she still felt sorry for Angelo. But why did he looked so sad when Daan said he couldn’t sleep with Sabine in one bed. He should understand that! That’s just normal…

2.00 at night: Sabine still wasn’t asleep. She thought about a lot things. Mainly Angelo. Oh, how she liked him so much!
Then she heared someone walking through the little corridor in the bus. She held her breath and looked if she could see who it was, but it was dark, so she couldn’t. The person stopped walking in front of her bed and turned around to her. Sabine closed her eyes, and pretend to sleep. The person pulled Sabine blankets back. ‘What’s going on!’ She thought. She heared the person breathing and was sure it was Angelo. She could hear it. But what was he doing here, pulling her blankets of her?!!

Angelo stepped over her and layed down in the bed next to Sabine at the window-side. With a huge sigh he turned around and Sabine suddenly felt his arm around her waist. She slowly opened her eyes and she saw Angelo. All dark, but she just knew it was him. "Angelo?" She asked. Quickly he pulled his arm back and replied: "Y-Yes? I’m sorry Sabine." "What are you doing here in my bed?" "Oh well, you know…it was so cold out there. I just wanted to lay in a warm bed." He said. "So you decided to go into my bed?" "Yeah, it also could have been Daan’s or Paddy’s bed." "And if it was Daan or Paddy, you’d slip your arm around them too?" Angelo sighed and said: "No…I’m sorry. I just wanted…" "Ssht, not so hard." "Shall I go back again?" "No, now you can stay here. You’re so cold! I don’t want you to be an icecube tommorow." "You wouldn’t mind, would you?" "What?! Of course I do mind. Why do you think I don’t like you or something?" "Because you said to Daan that I had to sleep in the same bed as Paddy." "So, you think I don’t like you, because you couldn’t sleep in the same bed with me?" Angelo sighed and said nothing. "Come on Angelo. It’s not that I don’t like you. But I just know you, and I think it’s a normal decission which I made, don’t you think?" He still said nothing, but I knew he agreed with this.

I stroke his hair and felt that he was so cold. "Oh my god, this is not normal. You so cold!" Sabine cried. "Yes, that’s what I said." "Do I have to get you something?" "No, I’m getting warmer now I’m laying here with you." Sabine only laughed and kept on stroking his hair. "If you want you can put your arm back on my waist…" Sabine finally said as she couldn’t hear Angelo breathing anymore. After a few seconds he said: "You wouldn’t mind that?" "No, I would like that. I asked you to do it, right?" Angelo laughed a little bit and a little bit klunzy he put his arm back around her waist. "Oh my god, that’s cold!" Sabine cried. "Ssht! Not so loud." Angelo laughed. None of them said something now and Sabine decided to go sleeping, because she was tired. After a few minutes, while she almost finally fell asleep, Angelo said: "God, it’s cold here man." "Yes, I know. But now I wanna sleep okay?" "Don’t you think it’s cold?" "Yes, I already said that Angelo." "Can I get some closer to you. To keep ourselves a little bit warm?" Sabine was a but surprised by this but said it was okay. Angelo held Sabine closer to him a he layed down his head on her shoulder. "Good night Sabine." Angelo said. "Good n-...." Sabine replied, but she couldn't finish her sentence 'cause suddenly Angelo kissed her on her mouth. It was just a little kiss, but she felt great after it.
